Careers FAQs

Start dates vary as they are subject to the necessary Linc employment checks. However, where possible we try to work within a four week time frame. We will confirm your induction and start date as soon as possible.

For all roles working within Linc Care, you will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure & Barring Service (formerly known as CRB Check). The DBS offers access to records held by the police and other government departments. This will also include a POVA/ISA check, according to the status of the post. This may apply to some roles within Linc Homes. Linc will request 3 references from your present/previous employers.

Linc are a flexible employer and recruit staff to cover full-time and part-time positions. Hours for each job vary and can be found in the ‘Employment Information’ for each job - please view our current Linc vacancies and select the position you are applying for to view the document.

You will be paid monthly on the 28th of each month directly into your bank account.

At Linc, we actively promote and encourage the learning and development of our staff and the same commitment is expected from employees.  You will benefit from a full induction and training programme tailored to your role. This will include all mandatory, workplace and developmental training, in addition to undertaking vocational qualifications and training related to your continuing professional development as necessary.  E-learning, classroom courses, workbooks and on the job training are all methods used to deliver the training.
